You're entitled or even expected to keep your knowledge on a certain level, for which own projects are inevitable. And dumps are automatically removed - when your system is set up properly. The example coding is one of my "own projects" aimed at the development environment. It can be rolled out through the landscape nevertheless - allowing users to remove SNAP dumps caused by the logon-user.
The actual removal action is performed according to SAP's RSSNAPDL report.
